Sad news

Hi all. You may have been wondering why we have not updated our blog with wonderful news about our new baby girl. There were some concerns that arose that prevented her from becoming a part of our family. The past two days have been filled with extreme highs and lows. If you think about us, please lift our family up in prayer as we heal our hearts.

We will be back on the waitlist at our previous spot and we will look forward to being matched with our little girl.

No one ever expects this, but it happens. You guys are not alone. What a hard decision to make, but I hope you can move forward to find the right fit for your family. If you want to read of someone that I know that dealt with that, then check out Westhaven Kids on the bottom of my blog list (not my blog roll)....she was so brave and it actually helped the little girl in the longrun.

Hugs & Prayers,
Theresa

Know that our prayers are with you...it's not easy to lose a referral for whatever reason it's lost. We lost Noah when his birthmom returned for him. We said no to a referral due to medical reasons. Our no meant yes for another family. But, it's NOT easy.
Allow your hearts to grieve; even in the short time you had her info, she was yours.

Just and FYI, We did accept the little girl,,baby H. After several specialist visits, we knew her medical issue would be determined by the time she went to court. If they were bad, she would not be able to be adopted. If they were good, she would be ours. However, the ET govt has taken her back to a state orphanage, b/c she is still a ward of the state. All of this b/c of the abandonment issues. We doubt she will be returned to HH. We were put back on the list at #3. Please keep her in your prayers.
