Hey Jana, wanted to answer your question. Yes, my husband and a friend built the bunkbeds from scratch. We really wanted toddler friendly bunkbeds so we made it a bit shorter and added higher rails on top (which can be removed eventually). It can also be separated into two beds if needed in the future. So yes, there was definitely hammering and power sawing and stuff like that going on in our driveway. If we lived closer, Jesse could help Chris build bunkbeds for you too.:)

the adoption rocks shirt are interesting...for some reason the white shirts run a little larger and the black shirts run a little smaller...hope that helps!
